Roles & Responsibilities

1. Mobile Application Development

● Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.

● Develop Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java and iOS applications using Swift.

● Build responsive, user-friendly, scalable, and reliable mobile applications.

● Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs, backend services, and third-party platforms.

● Implement authentication, notifications, data handling, and other application features.

● Debug application issues and implement effective technical solutions.

● Optimise application performance, reliability, and maintainability.

● Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.

● Use Git and GitHub for source-code management and collaborative development.

2. Testing, Deployment & Support

● Test applications for functionality, performance, compatibility, and reliability.

● Troubleshoot crashes, bugs, API issues, and deployment-related problems.

● Support application releases and production deployments.

● Maintain application configurations, dependencies, and release versions.

● Monitor application performance and resolve production issues.

3. Security & Engineering Practices

● Follow secure mobile application development practices.

● Implement appropriate authentication, authorisation, API security, and secure data handling.





● Maintain application dependencies and libraries.

● Follow coding standards, version control, testing, and code-review processes.

4. AI-Assisted Development

● Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and similar tools.

● Use AI tools for code generation, debugging, testing, documentation, and research.

● Validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.

5. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

● Work closely with product, design, backend, and engineering teams.

● Participate in technical discussions, sprint planning, code reviews, and release activities.

● Communicate technical issues, progress, risks, and dependencies clearly.

● Stay updated with modern mobile development and AI-assisted engineering practices.

Required Skills

● Minimum 1 year of skilled experience as an Android Developer, iOS Developer, Mobile Application Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role is preferred.

● Android Developer: Strong programming knowledge in Kotlin and/or Java.

● iOS Developer: Strong programming knowledge in Swift.

● Good knowledge of Android and/or iOS application development.

● Experience with REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, and API integrations.

● Understanding of mobile application architecture and UI development.





● Knowledge of databases and local data storage.

● Strong understanding of Git and GitHub.

● Understanding of software testing, debugging, and application performance optimisation.

● Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

● Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

● Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team.

Preferred

● Android: Jetpack Compose, Android Jetpack, Kotlin Coroutines, Firebase.

● iOS: SwiftUI, UIKit, Swift Concurrency, Firebase.

● Experience with MVVM or Clean Architecture.

● Experience with push notifications and background processing.

● Experience with automated testing and CI/CD.

● Experience publishing applications on Google Play Store and/or Apple App Store.

● Experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.

Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.

● Minimum 1 year of relevant professional software development experience is preferred.

● Demonstrated experience in developing, testing, and maintaining mobile applications.

● Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

● Good communication and collaboration skills.

● Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to a rapidly evolving technical environment.

Work Schedule

● Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM

● Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

● Sunday: Weekly Off

Work Location: Siliguri, West Bengal – Onsite

Pay: ₹25,000.00 per month
