SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER (ORGANIC GROWTH & CREATOR PARTNERSHIPS)
Remote
Engagement: Contractor
Location: Remote
Working timezone: Pacific Time
Lovie is building an agentic banking platform for AI-native companies. We are looking for a social media operator who can set the strategy and do the work.
You will own our cross-channel social strategy across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Each week, you will prioritize the two or three channels with the clearest opportunity and set a maintenance, test, or pause plan for the rest.
You will turn product launches, partnerships, fundraising updates, company news, and founder ideas into useful content people want to read, watch, and share.
This is not a scheduling-only role. We need someone who can decide what to say, adapt an idea to each channel, write in a founder's voice, run creator outreach, and connect organic activity to business results.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
- Build and run Lovie's social media and organic growth strategy.
- Own the editorial calendar, content pillars, publishing rhythm, and channel priorities.
- Write and produce channel-native content for LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Develop the social presence of Lovie's founders and executives while preserving each person's voice.
- Turn launches, partnerships, fundraising, and company news into focused social campaigns.
- Source, contact, brief, and manage TikTok and short-form UGC creators.
- Build relationships with creators, founders, investors, operators, and ecosystem partners.
- Own community engagement across our social channels and relevant online communities.
- Track fintech, AI, startup, creator, and cultural conversations. Know when to join and when to stay out.
- Work closely with Product Marketing, Growth, Product, Sales, and Communications.
- Build repeatable systems for research, production, approvals, distribution,
and reporting.
- Use AI tools where they improve the work, while keeping human judgment and editorial taste in charge.
- Measure qualified traffic, signups, brand search, creator performance, and pipeline influence, not just impressions and follower counts.
- Keep testing formats, hooks, distribution methods, and emerging channels.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Proven 3+ years experience owning organic social for a startup, technology company, founder-led brand, agency, or high-growth product.
- Excellent English writing and editing skills.
- A portfolio with published examples and a clear account of your own contribution, outcomes, and lessons, across more than one platform.
- Evidence that you understand how LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube behave differently.
- Experience writing for founders or senior executives without making every voice sound the same.
- Hands-on experience with creator sourcing, outreach, briefing, approvals, usage rights, and performance review.
- The ability to connect content choices to commercial outcomes.
- Comfort working independently, documenting decisions, and moving projects forward without waiting for meetings.
- Practical use of AI for research, ideation, repurposing, quality checks, or workflow automation. We care about how you think, not how many tools you can name.
You do not need to match every bullet. Show us the work that makes you a good fit.
HOW WE WORK
AI-First: AI is a thought partner,
not a substitute for taste or judgment. Use it, question it, and be explicit about where it helped.
Async-First: Good work should keep moving even when teammates are offline. We write clearly, give context, and protect focused work.
Artifact-First: Strategies, decisions, briefs, and results should be documented so the next person can build on them.
HOW TO APPLY
Apply through this LinkedIn job posting. Include a portfolio link in your LinkedIn profile or CV. We review evidence of work and judgment, not just a list of brands or follower counts.
In your portfolio, choose TWO projects you personally worked on:
- A social campaign or editorial program you owned. Show 2–3 live posts or redacted examples across at least two channels, the objective and audience, the dates, what you personally wrote or decided, and why the idea changed by channel.
- A founder/executive content program OR a creator/UGC program. Show 1–2 examples. For founder content, explain how you captured their voice and handled approvals. For creator work, explain sourcing, briefing, outreach, usage rights, and how you evaluated results.
For EACH project, give the starting point, the outcome, and how you measured it. Where possible, include a dated, redacted analytics screenshot or report excerpt showing the result and comparison period. Separate your work from the team's work and organic results from paid amplification. Explain one post or test that did not work and what you changed next.
Briefly note which AI tools you used, what you changed or rejected, your location, and whether you can work on Pacific Time. A concise portfolio or case-study PDF is fine, send it to:
[email protected]
- Shortlisted candidates will receive a fictional or sanitized async work sample designed to take no more than three hours.
