AMI WISEOWLZZ REALTY is looking for a Site Engineer / Construction Site Supervisor – Civil to join our project team for AMI ONE, Borivali West.

The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day site supervision, execution, quality control, contractor coordination and monitoring of construction activities.

Role & Responsibilities

Site Supervision

- Oversee daily construction activities and ensure work is executed as per approved architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
- Supervise RCC, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, tiling and other civil and finishing works.
- Monitor work progress against project schedules and planned milestones.
- Ensure construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants and labour teams.

Setting Out & Site Measurements
- Check dimensions, levels, alignments and setting-out at site.
- Verify work against approved drawings and site measurements.
- Assist in marking and positioning of walls, openings, columns and other building elements.
- Identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions.
- Ensure proper line, level, plumb and alignment of executed works.

Quality Control




- Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure required quality standards are maintained.
- Check ongoing construction activities for line, level, alignment, dimensions and finishing quality.
- Ensure construction is carried out as per approved specifications and drawings.
- Identify defects and coordinate timely rectification.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure proper construction practices are followed.

Safety & Compliance
- Ensure contractors and workers follow safe working practices.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and site discipline.
- Ensure appropriate PPE and safety measures are followed.
- Report unsafe conditions and construction-related risks immediately.
- Support compliance with applicable site safety and construction requirements.

Contractor & Labour Coordination
- Coordinate daily activities with contractors and subcontractors.
- Monitor manpower deployment and productivity.
- Allocate and follow up on daily work activities.
- Ensure contractors complete assigned works within agreed timelines.
- Follow up on pending works and ensure timely completion.

Problem Solving
- Identify technical and execution-related issues at site.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, Architect and consultants for suitable solutions.
- Address workmanship issues, delays and site coordination problems promptly.
- Ensure identified issues are followed through until closure.

Material Management
- Monitor material requirements for ongoing and upcoming works.
- Check materials received at site for quantity and basic quality.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for timely availability of materials.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of construction materials.
- Minimize material wastage.

Measurements & Documentation




- Take and verify site measurements.
- Assist in checking contractor quantities and bills.
- Maintain daily progress records and site updates.
- Maintain records of pending works, inspections and rectifications.
- Assist with quantity take-offs and work-related documentation wherever required.

- Strong attention to quality and workmanship.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office / Excel.
- AutoCAD knowledge will be an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned site activities.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in residential construction, redevelopment projects or high-rise construction will be preferred.

Experience in RCC, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, tiling, finishing works and MEP coordination will be an added advantage.
