Role & responsibilities

We are hiring apprentices under the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) for our aerospace-metallurgy manufacturing plant. Selected candidates will receive structured on-the-job training in casting and machining operations and build skills used in precision components for the aerospace sector.

- Operate and assist on shop-floor equipment in casting (moulding, melting, pouring, fettling) or machining (CNC/VMC/conventional lathe and milling), as per assigned trade.
- Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and drawings to produce parts to specified dimensions and quality standards.
- Perform basic in-process inspection using measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, gauges) and record readings accurately.
- Maintain production and quality documentation required for aerospace traceability.
- Follow safety rules strictly, including correct use of PPE, and keep the work area clean and organised (5S).
- Support routine machine upkeep and report abnormalities or breakdowns to the supervisor promptly.
- Work in rotational shifts as required and meet daily output and quality targets.




- Take part in classroom and on-the-job training modules and periodic skill assessments.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Metallurgy Engineering and other related branch 10th + 12th pass candidates with a solid interest in manufacturing may also apply.
- Preferred Diploma trades: Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Moulder, Welder, Electrician.
- Freshers, or candidates who have not previously completed a formal apprenticeship in the same trade.
- Minimum age 18 years (shop-floor work involves hazardous processes).
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and measuring instruments is an advantage.
- Physically fit for shop-floor work and willing to work in rotational shifts.
- Disciplined, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.
- Candidates from Dharwad or willing to relocate to Dharwad preferred.
- Must register on the Apprenticeship India portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) to complete onboarding.
