Role Description The Shift DC Operations role is a full-time, on-site position based at PDG’s data center in Mumbai. This role is responsible for monitoring and operating critical data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, security, and IT systems, in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Daily tasks include performing routine inspections, responding to alarms and incidents, coordinating maintenance activities, and escalating technical issues to relevant teams. The role also involves maintaining accurate logs and reports, supporting change management processes, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted data center operations.



The individual in this role will work in a shift schedule to provide continuous operational coverage.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills to interpret operational data, identify issues, and support problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and customers, and to document incidents and procedures clearly.
- Experience or aptitude in operations management, including adherence to standard operating procedures, incident response, and continuous improvement of data center processes.
- Project management skills to assist with planned maintenance, infrastructure upgrades, and operational initiatives, ensuring tasks are completed on time and with minimal impact.
- Exposure to or understanding of sales support activities, such as providing operational inputs for customer visits, audits, and service level discussions, is an advantage.
- Prior experience in data center operations, facilities management, or a related technical environment is preferred.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree (e.g., engineering, information technology, or similar field) is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a shift-based schedule, maintain attention to detail, and follow safety and compliance standards consistently.
