The Senior SAP Technical Recruiter – Data Migration & MDG is responsible for identifying, assessing, interviewing, hiring, and maintaining a pipeline of highly qualified SAP consultants to support large global SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.

This is a specialized recruiting and consulting-resource staffing position focused primarily on two SAP capability areas:

- SAP S/4HANA Data Migration
- SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)

The recruiter will work closely with SAP Consulting Leadership, Project Managers, Data Migration and MDG Leads, and Resource Management teams to understand current and anticipated project staffing requirements and ensure qualified consultants can be staffed within required project timelines. This position requires strong knowledge of SAP Data Migration and SAP MDG roles and skill sets. The recruiter must be capable of conducting meaningful first-level functional and technical interviews rather than relying solely on résumé keyword matching.

The role is dedicated to recruiting and staffing. Payroll administration, perks administration, employee relations, performance management, and other general HR responsibilities are outside the scope of this position.

Key Responsibilities

1. SAP Consulting Resource Recruitment

- Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for SAP Data Migration and SAP MDG consulting positions.
- Work with EnQubes SAP Consulting and Project Leadership to understand immediate and forecasted resource requirements.
- Develop recruiting plans based on project timelines, required skills, experience levels, locations, and anticipated start dates.
- Prioritize recruiting activities based on project staffing urgency and critical skill requirements.
- Recruit consultants for permanent, contract, and other applicable consulting staffing models.

2. SAP Data Migration Recruiting Recruit and perform initial qualification of functional and technical consultants supporting SAP S/4HANA Data Migration programs, including:

Data Migration Functional Consultants

- Order-to-Cash (OTC)
- Source-to-Pay / Procure-to-Pay (STP/PTP)
- Record-to-Report (RTR)
- Production Planning (PP)
- Quality Management (QM)
- Enterprise Asset Management / Plant Maintenance (EAM/PM)
- Project Systems (PS)
- Material Master and other SAP master-data domains

Data Migration Technical Consultants / Developers

- SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS)
- Syniti
- SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit
- LTMC / LTMOM

Understand the differences between Data Migration Functional Analyst and Data Migration Developer responsibilities and appropriately evaluate candidates for each role. 3. SAP MDG Recruiting

Recruit and perform initial qualification of SAP MDG functional and technical consultants, including:

SAP MDG Functional Consultants

- Business Partner – Customer
- Business Partner – Supplier
- Material Master
- Finance master-data domains
- Data governance processes
- Change Request processes
- Workflow requirements
- Data quality, validation and derivation requirements

SAP MDG Technical / Developer Consultants

- ABAP development supporting MDG

Understand the distinction between SAP MDG Functional Consultant, MDG Technical Consultant/Developer, Solution Architect, and other MDG project roles. 4. Candidate Sourcing and Talent Acquisition Strategy

- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract highly qualified SAP Data Migration and MDG consultants.
- Source candidates through:
- LinkedIn and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Naukri
- Foundit
- Other relevant Indian technology job portals
- Professional networks
- Employee and consultant referrals
- Direct sourcing and passive candidate outreach
- Existing candidate databases




- Identify high-performing consultants working at major SAP consulting firms, system integrators, and global S/4HANA programs.
- Develop strategies for reaching passive candidates who may not be actively searching for employment.
- Build relationships with experienced SAP professionals before specific project openings become available.
- Continuously evaluate sourcing-channel effectiveness and adjust recruiting strategies accordingly.

5. Development and Job Posting

- Work with SAP Consulting and Project Leadership to understand technical and functional requirements for open positions.
- Develop accurate and compelling job descriptions for SAP Data Migration and SAP MDG roles.
- Ensure JDs clearly distinguish mandatory technical skills from preferred qualifications.
- Post positions on LinkedIn, Naukri, Foundit, and other appropriate recruiting platforms.
- Periodically refresh and optimize postings based on applicant quality and market response.
- Maintain reusable JD templates for recurring SAP consulting roles.

6. Candidate Screening and Interviewing

- Review résumés and identify candidates whose actual project experience aligns with job requirements.
- Conduct initial recruiter interviews to assess:
- Relevant SAP implementation experience
- S/4HANA project experience
- Data Migration or MDG specialization
- Functional versus technical depth
- Hands-on project responsibilities
- Global implementation experience
- Communication skills
- Consulting experience
- Availability and notice period
- Current and expected compensation
- Ask role-specific questions to validate whether candidates possess the experience represented on their résumés.
- Identify candidates whose experience is primarily support or operational work when the position requires implementation experience.
- Shortlist qualified candidates for technical and project-management interviews.
- Coordinate subsequent interview rounds and ensure timely interviewer feedback.

7. Offer Management and Hiring

- Manage the recruiting process from candidate identification through accepted offer and confirmed joining date.
- Gather compensation information and align candidate expectations with approved compensation ranges.
- Prepare and communicate offers to selected candidates.
- Negotiate compensation and other approved employment terms.
- Prepare and issue offer letters in accordance with company procedures.
- Confirm candidate acceptance and establish start dates aligned with consulting project requirements.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates between offer acceptance and joining date.
- Proactively identify and manage risks of offer decline, counteroffers, delayed joining, or candidate dropout.

8. Notice Period and Rapid Staffing Strategy

- Maintain detailed visibility into candidate notice periods and earliest available joining dates.
- Recognize that many experienced SAP consultants employed by large Indian organizations may have lengthy notice periods that do not align with consulting-project staffing timelines.
- Develop sourcing strategies specifically targeting:
- Immediately available consultants
- Consultants serving notice periods
- Candidates with shorter contractual notice periods
- Consultants approaching completion of existing projects
- Qualified independent/contract consultants
- Previously interviewed candidates who can be re-engaged quickly
- Identify strong candidates before project demand becomes urgent.




- Maintain relationships with qualified candidates during their notice periods and periodically reconfirm availability and interest.
- Build sufficient pipeline depth to minimize dependence on candidates with long joining timelines.

9. Candidate Pipeline Management

- Maintain an accurate, continuously updated recruiting pipeline for SAP Data Migration and MDG resources.
- Track candidates by:
- SAP specialization
- Functional or technical role
- SAP module/domain
- Years of experience
- S/4HANA experience
- Current employer
- Location
- Current compensation
- Expected compensation
- Notice period
- Earliest available date
- Interview status
- Interview feedback

- Maintain a pool of pre-screened candidates for anticipated future project requirements.
- Keep high-quality potential candidates engaged even when an immediate opening is not available.
- Periodically reconnect with pipeline candidates to confirm availability, interest, compensation expectations, and notice-period status.

10. Recruiting Metrics and Reporting

- Maintain accurate recruiting trackers and applicant records at all times.
- Provide regular pipeline reports to Consulting and Project Leadership.
- Track metrics such as:
- Open positions
- Candidates sourced
- Candidates screened
- Candidates technically qualified
- Candidates submitted for project interviews
- Interview-to-offer conversion
- Offers issued
- Offers accepted
- Expected joining dates
- Actual joining dates
- Offer dropouts
- Average time-to-fill
- Pipeline by SAP skill area
- Identify staffing risks early and communicate them to project leadership.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of IT / technology recruiting experience in India, with significant experience recruiting SAP consultants.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting for large SAP implementation or consulting programs.
- Hands-on recruiting experience for SAP S/4HANA Data Migration roles, including Functional Consultants and BODS/Data Migration Developers.
- Hands-on recruiting experience for SAP MDG Functional and Technical/Developer roles.
- Demonstrated ability to independently conduct first-level interviews of SAP Data Migration and SAP MDG candidates.
- Strong understanding of the differences between SAP functional, technical/development, architecture, and project-management roles.
- Experience sourcing candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Foundit, referrals, direct sourcing, and other recruiting channels.
- Experience managing candidate pipelines and recruiting trackers/ATS systems.
- Demonstrated experience with compensation negotiation, offer management, offer-letter coordination, and joining-date management.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience recruiting SAP consultants for global S/4HANA transformation programs.
- Experience recruiting for major SAP consulting firms, system integrators, or SAP-focused consulting organizations.
- Existing professional network of SAP Data Migration, BODS, Syniti, and SAP MDG consultants in India.
- Familiarity with SAP business process areas including OTC, STP/PTP, RTR, PP/QM, EAM/PM, and Project Systems.
- Understanding of SAP Data Migration tools and terminology including BODS, Syniti, Migration Cockpit, LTMC/LTMOM, ETL, FDS/FMD, data mapping, data validation, reconciliation, and cutover.
- Understanding of SAP MDG concepts including Business Partner, Material, data models, workflows, BRF+, DRF, replication, and data governance.
- Experience recruiting both permanent and contract SAP consulting resources.
- Demonstrated ability to build proactive talent pipelines for niche SAP skills and reduce time-to-staff for project-critical positions.
