1. Overall Quality Control

- Take ownership of quality control activities from incoming material to final dispatch.

- Establish and implement inspection standards, quality check sheets, control plans, and inspection procedures.

- Ensure products are manufactured according to approved drawings, specifications, samples, and customer requirements.

- Monitor and improve product quality, process capability, and consistency.

1. New Product Development Quality

- Work closely with Design, Development, Production, and Purchase teams during new product development.

- Review drawings, specifications, BOMs, samples, and critical-to-quality parameters.

- Develop inspection standards and quality checkpoints for current products.

- Conduct first-piece, trial, pilot-run, and pre-production inspections.

- Identify potential quality issues during product development and recommend preventive actions.

1. Incoming Quality Inspection

- Establish inspection criteria for raw materials and purchased components.

- Inspect sheet metal, pipes, wires, plastics, hardware, fasteners, accessories, and other components.

- Verify dimensions, thickness, material specifications, appearance, and functionality.

- Monitor supplier quality and maintain supplier rejection records.

1. In-Process Quality Control

- Monitor quality at various manufacturing stages:

- Cutting

- Bending

- Punching

- Welding

- Grinding

- Assembly

- Powder Coating / Painting

- Surface Treatment

- Packaging

- Ensure critical process parameters are controlled.

- Identify recurring defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.

1. Final Product Inspection

- Lead final inspection of products such as:

- Cloth Drying Stands

- Ironing Boards

- BBQs / Charcoal Grills

- Storage &
- Utility Racks

- Household Stands

- Kitchen / Home Utility Products





- Check dimensions, weight, stability, strength, functionality, fitment, welding, surface finish, appearance, and packaging.

- Ensure final products conform to approved samples and customer specifications.

1. Product Testing &
- Validation

- Develop suitable inspection and testing methods based on product requirements.

- Conduct or coordinate:

- Load / weight testing

- Stability testing

- Functional testing

- Folding / opening-closing cycle checks

- Fitment checks

- Strength checks

- Coating / adhesion checks

- Packaging / transit-related checks

- Maintain product test reports and quality records.

1. Quality Analysis &
- Problem Solving

- Analyze internal and customer quality complaints.

- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using tools such as:

- 5 Why Analysis

- Fishbone Diagram

- 8D

- Pareto Analysis

- 7 QC Tools

- Implement and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

- Verify effectiveness of corrective actions.

1. Welding, Fabrication &
- Assembly Quality

- Monitor welding and fabrication quality, including:

- Weld strength

- Weld appearance

- Alignment

- Squareness

- Dimensional accuracy

- Cracks / porosity

- Weld spatter

- Fitment

- Ensure proper assembly and functioning of moving, folding, locking, and hinged components.

1. Powder Coating &
- Surface Quality

- Monitor powder coating / painting quality for:

- Colour

- Gloss

- Coating thickness

- Adhesion





- Uniformity

- Scratches

- Dents

- Peeling

- Rust / corrosion

- Coordinate with production to control surface-finish defects.

1. Supplier Quality Management

- Monitor supplier quality performance.

- Conduct supplier quality reviews and support supplier audits where required.

- Issue supplier rejection / quality feedback reports.

- Follow up on supplier corrective actions and verify effectiveness.

1. Customer Quality &
- Complaints

- Handle customer quality complaints and coordinate investigation.

- Prepare 8D / CAPA reports and corrective-action responses.

- Coordinate with Production, Design, Purchase, and Management to resolve customer issues.

- Track complaint closure within defined timelines.

1. Pre-Dispatch &
- Packaging Quality

- Ensure pre-dispatch inspection is completed for customer shipments.

- Verify product quantity, appearance, dimensions, functionality, accessories, labels, manuals, barcodes, and packaging.

- Ensure packing is adequate to prevent product damage during transportation.

1. Quality Documentation &
- MIS

- Maintain:

- Inspection Reports

- Quality Check Sheets

- Control Plans

- SOPs / Work Instructions

- NCR Reports

- CAPA Reports

- 8D Reports

- Supplier Quality Reports

- Customer Complaint Records

- Quality MIS

- Prepare periodic quality reports and present quality performance to management.

1. Team Handling &
- Training

- Guide and supervise Quality Engineers, Inspectors, and shop-floor quality personnel.

- Allocate inspection responsibilities and monitor daily quality activities.

- Train production and quality teams on quality standards, inspection methods, and defect prevention.
