The Senior QA Engineer will serve as a hands-on Quality Engineer within the offshore QA as a Service team. This individual will design and execute functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and automated tests across a diverse portfolio of web, API, cloud, database, and legacy applications.

The Senior QA Engineer will be expected to understand the business and technical intent behind each application, not simply execute predefined test scripts. The individual will investigate failures, identify edge cases, analyze logs and data, isolate potential root causes, document defects, contribute to automation, and support continuous improvement of testing coverage and effectiveness. Pay ranges from $10-13/hr based on YOE

Skills and Requirements

5 to 7 years of Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering experience • Strong functional, system, integration, regression, and exploratory testing experience • Experience analyzing requirements, acceptance criteria, application workflows, and technical dependencies • Ability to create detailed test scenarios, test cases, test data, and expected results • Experience testing .NET, C#, Angular, web, API, and database-driven applications • Hands-on Selenium automation experience • Working knowledge of C# for creating, maintaining, or troubleshooting automated tests • Experience validating data through SQL queries • Experience with REST API testing using tools such as Postman or an equivalent platform • Experience recording, prioritizing, reproducing, and retesting software defects • Solid troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities • Ability to identify negative scenarios, boundary conditions,



and edge cases • Experience working in Agile or Kanban teams • Strong written documentation and stakeholder communication skills • Ability to work from India during hours overlapping U.S. Eastern or Western business hours • Experience with Playwright • Experience migrating automated tests from Selenium to Playwright • Azure DevOps experience, including Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans, or release management • Experience testing Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, MongoDB, or other SQL and NoSQL platforms • Experience testing Docker or Kubernetes-based applications • Experience with WinForms or DevExpress desktop applications • Experience testing systems migrating from Service Fabric to Kubernetes • Experience with CI/CD-integrated automated testing • Experience supporting a large portfolio of independently released applications • Familiarity with QA KPIs, dashboards, and service-level reporting
