About Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer - Automation & API Testing to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications and backend services. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing, along with hands-on experience in test automation frameworks and database validation. This role involves close collaboration with development, product, and DevOps teams to drive quality throughout the software development lifecycle and deliver robust, high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment.

What You'll Do:

- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing of web applications and backend services.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.




- Validate REST APIs and web services using tools such as Postman and other API testing platforms.
- Conduct database validation and data verification using SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, or JUnit frameworks.
- Execute automation test suites and analyze test results to identify quality issues.
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with developers to reproduce issues and ensure timely defect resolution.
- Perform release validation, smoke testing, sanity testing, and production readiness assessments.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to test strategy development and continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Ensure adequate test coverage across functional and non-functional requirements.
- Support CI/CD implementation and integrate automated testing within deployment pipelines.
- Perform root cause analysis of production and testing issues.
- Assist in performance, load, and reliability testing initiatives when required.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met across all deliverables.
- Drive quality engineering best practices and promote a quality-first mindset across teams.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 5 to 8 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, and Test Automation.
- Strong expertise in Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, and End-to-End Testing.
- Hands-on experience with API Testing, API Validation, and REST Web Services Testing.
- Strong proficiency in Postman and other API testing tools.
- Solid experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, database validation, and data verification activities.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, and JUnit.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and defect management processes.
- Experience in defect identification, defect tracking,



test execution, and reporting.
- Knowledge of release validation, smoke testing, production readiness testing, and quality assurance processes.
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.
- Exposure to Quality Engineering practices and modern testing approaches.
- Basic understanding of performance testing, load testing concepts, and application monitoring tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Strong commitment to software quality, continuous learning, and process improvement.
