Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Review and execute piping engineering activities for industrial projects.
- Interpret and work with Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;).
- Apply piping codes, standards, and engineering best practices during project execution.
- Perform piping material take-offs and quantity calculations.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review piping layouts, isometrics, and engineering deliverables.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality requirements.
- Understand welding requirements and features relevant to piping works.
- Support construction, installation, testing,
and commissioning activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Strong exposure to piping codes and industry standards.
- Valuable understanding of piping engineering activities and deliverables.
- Proficiency in quantity estimation and material calculations.
- Sound knowledge of P&IDs; and basic engineering terminology.
- Familiarity with welding processes and their application in piping systems.
- Experience in chemical, petrochemical, chlor-alkali, refinery, or other industrial projects will be preferred.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
