Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior PEB Design Engineer with 7+ years of relevant experience in Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) design and structural engineering.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in STAAD.Pro, structural analysis and design of steel structures, PEB systems, structural connections, design optimization and engineering documentation.

The candidate will be responsible for independently handling PEB projects from design inputs and structural modelling through analysis, design, drawing review, fabrication support and technical coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently perform analysis and design of PEB and structural steel buildings.
- Develop, analyse and review STAAD.Pro models.
- Prepare structural models, loading conditions and load combinations.
- Design and check primary and secondary structural members, including:
- Built-up columns and rafters
- Purlins and girts
- Bracing systems
- End-wall systems
- Canopies and mezzanines
- Platforms and miscellaneous steel structures
- Crane-supporting structures, where applicable
- Perform dead load, live load, wind load, seismic load, collateral load, crane load and other applicable load calculations.
- Review STAAD.Pro analysis results for structural adequacy, stability and serviceability.
- Carry out structural member optimization and weight reduction while maintaining safety and design requirements.
- Design and review bolted and welded structural connections.
- Review foundation reactions and coordinate with the civil/foundation design team.
- Prepare and check structural design calculations, reports and engineering documents.
- Review GA, fabrication and erection drawings for structural accuracy.
- Coordinate with detailing, estimation, fabrication, procurement, project and site teams.
- Resolve structural design issues during fabrication and erection.




- Provide technical support and clarification to clients and consultants.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable IS Codes, project specifications and international standards, wherever applicable.
- Review and check engineering work prepared by junior and intermediate engineers.
- Guide and mentor junior design engineers.
- Conduct internal design checks before client submission.
- Identify design risks, structural conflicts and constructability issues.
- Ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables as per project requirements.

- International/client-specific standards, where applicable

Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering – Mandatory
- M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering – Preferred

Required Experience
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in PEB/Structural Design.
- Candidates with 7–12+ years of PEB design experience are preferred.




- Strong practical experience in STAAD.Pro and steel structure design is essential.
- Experience in independently handling complete PEB design projects will be preferred.

- Lead structural design activities for multiple PEB projects.
- Review and technically check designs prepared by the design team.
- Allocate design work and monitor engineering deliverables.
- Conduct internal design reviews and quality checks.
- Identify and rectify design errors and discrepancies.
- Coordinate with clients and consultants on technical matters.
- Support the Head – Design in resolving complex structural engineering issues.
- Develop and improve PEB design methodologies for safety, economy and constructability.
- Coordinate effectively with design, detailing, estimation, fabrication and erection teams.
- Mentor junior and intermediate structural engineers.

Desired Candidate Profile
- 7+ years of relevant PEB/Structural Design experience.
- Excellent hands-on knowledge of STAAD.Pro.
- Ability to independently analyse and design complete PEB structures.
- Strong knowledge of steel structural behaviour and PEB systems.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for engineering calculations and design-related analysis.
- Good understanding of structural design codes and engineering practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of fabrication and erection requirements.
- Ability to review and guide junior engineers.
- Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
