Role & responsibilities

- Perform routine and specialized Biochemistry and Hematology investigations.
- Operate and maintain fully automated analyzers and laboratory equipment.
- Handle sample collection, processing, labeling, and proper storage as per SOPs.
- Perform CBC, peripheral smear, HbA1c, LFT, RFT, lipid profile, electrolytes, and other routine tests as applicable.
- Conduct internal quality control and ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Follow NABL quality standards, laboratory SOPs, safety procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Identify sample rejection criteria and ensure proper corrective action.
- Monitor analyzer performance, calibration, reagents, and maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate with pathologists, sample collection, accession, and other laboratory departments.
- Review results and escalate abnormal or critical findings according to laboratory protocols.




- Maintain proper records, registers, QC documentation, and equipment logs.
- Support smooth laboratory operations during shifts and assist junior technicians when required.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification

DMLT / BMLT / B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biochemistry, Hematology, or relevant field.

Experience

24 years of relevant experience, preferably in a diagnostic laboratory.

- Strong knowledge of Biochemistry & Hematology
