Role & responsibilities

- Design complete LT electrical systems and prepare detailed electrical drawings.

- Perform electrical load calculations, load schedules and power distribution design.

- Prepare SLDs, panel schedules, lighting layouts and small power layouts.

- Perform cable sizing and voltage-drop calculations.

- Design earthing and lightning protection systems.

- Prepare BOQs, technical specifications and tender documentation.

- Coordinate with HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, Structural and Architectural teams.

- Review vendor drawings, material submittals and shop drawings.

- Attend client meetings and provide technical design support.

- Conduct site visits for design verification and resolve technical issues during execution.

- Mentor junior engineers and review design deliverables.

Preferred candidate profile

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.

- 5+ years of relevant experience in LT Electrical Design,



preferably within an MEP/Design Consultancy.

- Robust hands-on knowledge of LT electrical systems, power distribution, lighting design and electrical calculations.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Dialux Evo.

- Experience in BOQ preparation, technical specifications, cable sizing, voltage drop, earthing and lightning protection.

- Knowledge of NBC, IS Codes, IEC Standards, CEA Regulations and ECBC Guidelines.

- Strong interdisciplinary coordination, communication, problem-solving and client-handling skills.

- Experience with ETAP and Revit MEP will be an added advantage.

- Candidates with exposure to industrial, pharmaceutical, commercial, healthcare, residential or warehouse/logistics projects will be preferred.
