Senior Specialist - Data Engineering Job Summary Seeking an experienced Python developer with strong financial services background and MySQL expertise to design and maintain scalable enterprise applications supporting risk regulatory and collateral functions Solid Python development experience including design development debugging and optimisation of enterprise applications 5 years of software development experience within a financial services organisation preferably supporting Risk Regulatory Trading or Collateral functions Proficient in MySQL for database design querying and optimisation Ability to translate business requirements into productiongrade technology solutions Handson experience with the Quartz framework is an advantage Excellent communication skills written and verbal to engage effectively with technical and business stakeholders Strong analytical problemsolving and investigative capabilities with a structured approach to issue resolution Teamoriented mindset with high ownership accountability and collaboration Understanding of Collateral Management XVA Risk Management or Capital Markets products and processes Knowledge of regulatory frameworks including ECB CCAR FRTB Basel or similar regulatory initiatives Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and modern software engineering practices Experience supporting businesscritical production systems in a global financial services environment Roles and Responsibilities Design develop and maintain scalable Pythonbased applications and services within the Quartz framework Develop and optimise MySQL databases and queries to support application performance and data integrity Translate business and user requirements into robust maintainable and productionready solutions Partner with Trading Risk Finance Collateral and Regulatory teams to deliver technology solutions supporting business objectives Analyse complex business problems perform root cause investigations and implement effective technical solutions Develop and optimise data processing reporting and workflow automation components Create and maintain unit integration and automated regression tests to ensure software quality and stability Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning daily standups code reviews and retrospectives Collaborate closely with global development teams and stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones Contribute to platform improvements engineering best practices performance optimisation and code quality initiatives Support the implementation of regulatory and collateralrelated technology solutions ensuring alignment with business and compliance requirements Assist in the analysis and delivery of solutions related to regulatory frameworks such as ECB CCAR and other risk management initiatives
