Content Writer & Editor — AI Training & Evaluation

About the Prospect

We are looking for experienced Content Writers & Editors to contribute to a customer project focused on text quality, content evaluation, and AI model training.

In this role, you’ll use your expertise in writing, editing, grammar, and communication to evaluate and improve written content used to train next-generation AI systems.

No prior AI experience is required. Your writing and editorial expertise is what matters.

What You’ll Do

- Evaluate written content for clarity, coherence, accuracy, structure, and overall quality.
- Review AI-generated content and identify low-quality, repetitive, unnatural, or "AI slop" characteristics.
- Edit and improve content for grammar, syntax, tone, readability, and consistency.
- Provide detailed, constructive feedback explaining why content does or does not meet quality standards.
- Compare different versions of written responses and assess their quality based on defined evaluation criteria.
- Identify subtle issues in language, reasoning, tone, and communication that may affect the quality of AI-generated responses.
- Write concise analyses, explanations, and recommendations to support AI model improvement.
- Follow project-specific guidelines and maintain consistency across evaluations.
- Collaborate remotely with project coordinators and other subject-matter specialists.
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and within defined project timelines.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Journalism, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent skilled experience.
- Native or near-native English proficiency with excellent written communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong command of grammar, syntax, punctuation, tone, and style.
- Ability to recognize differences between natural human writing and AI-generated content.
- Experience providing editorial feedback, content assessments, or quality reviews.
- Strong critical-thinking and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and consistently follow detailed guidelines.
