Position: Senior Code Quality Engineer

Type: Contractor Assignment

Compensation: $23/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: Full-time (40 hours/week), for 3 months

Role Responsibilities

- Review and evaluate AI-generated code across different programming languages.
- Assess code for correctness, reliability, security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Identify bugs, logical errors, edge-case failures, and architectural weaknesses.
- Analyze unfamiliar codebases and understand the impact of proposed changes.
- Review bug fixes, feature implementations, refactoring, API integrations, and database operations.

Requirements

- 7+ years of experience in software engineering and production-grade software development.
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C++, Go, C#, Ruby, PHP, Rust, or another programming language.
- Hands-on experience with building, maintaining, debugging, and reviewing production-grade software.
- Solid understanding of software design principles, clean code, modular architecture, abstraction, error handling, and maintainability.
