Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer – Commercial Projects to oversee and manage civil construction activities for commercial projects. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, quality control, planning, contractor coordination, safety compliance, and ensuring that construction work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, timelines, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage day-to-day civil construction activities at commercial project sites.
- Review and interpret structural, architectural, and civil drawings.
- Ensure construction work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
- Plan and monitor project activities to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and resources required for site execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper workmanship and construction quality.
- Check reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and other civil works.
- Ensure proper quantity and quality of construction materials used at site.
- Monitor contractors and subcontractors and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Identify site issues, technical problems, and delays and coordinate appropriate solutions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, and work progress.
- Coordinate with the project management team regarding site requirements and progress.
- Ensure construction activities comply with safety standards and company policies.
- Assist in quantity estimation, material planning, and measurement verification.
- Check work measurements and support billing and certification processes.
- Maintain proper site documentation, inspection reports, checklists, and records.




- Conduct quality checks and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants and clients.
- Monitor project costs and minimize material wastage and unnecessary expenses.
- Support testing and commissioning activities related to civil works.
- Ensure proper handover of completed areas and rectify pending work or defects.
- Mentor junior engineers and site supervisors and guide them in daily execution activities.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) from a recognized institution.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in civil construction, preferably in commercial projects.
- Robust knowledge of commercial building construction and site execution.
- Good understanding of structural and architectural drawings.
- Experience in managing contractors, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, quality standards, and safety practices.
- Ability to plan and monitor multiple construction activities.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and relevant construction/project management software.
- Ability to work under project deadlines and manage site-related challenges.
- Strong leadership and team-management capabilities.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in commercial buildings, office buildings, shopping complexes, hotels, malls, hospitals, warehouses, or other large-scale construction projects will be preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
