We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Senior Civil Engineer to lead and supervise civil execution activities for EV charging and infrastructure projects, ensuring quality, safety, timely completion, and adherence to approved drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise civil works for EV charging and infrastructure projects from planning to completion.
- Review civil drawings, BOQs, specifications, site layouts, and project requirements.
- Plan and monitor civil execution activities as per project timelines.
- Supervise activities including excavation, PCC, RCC foundations, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, plastering, flooring, paving, drainage, and other civil works .
- Ensure charger foundations and other civil structures are executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Electrical teams, contractors, vendors, and site supervisors.
- Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for civil execution.
- Monitor site progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
- Conduct regular quality checks and ensure compliance with approved specifications and company quality standards.
- Identify and resolve site-level technical and execution issues.
- Ensure proper measurement and verification of civil work quantities.
- Coordinate with contractors for work allocation, progress, quality, and billing measurements.
- Ensure adherence to site safety standards, work permits,
PPE requirements, and company SOPs .
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, site updates, measurements, and project documentation.
- Coordinate snag rectification and support final project completion and handover.
- Manage multiple sites/projects as required and provide regular updates to management.
What We're Looking For
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in Civil Engineering, Civil EPC, Construction, or Infrastructure Projects.
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification.
- Strong hands-on experience in civil construction and site execution .
- Experience in EV charging infrastructure, electrical infrastructure, or turnkey projects will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of RCC, PCC, foundations, reinforcement, shuttering, concrete works, paving, drainage, and finishing works .
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, BOQs, specifications, and layouts .
- Robust contractor and manpower management skills.
- Good understanding of quality control, site measurements, and construction practices.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and site practices.
- Good proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD .
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across India.
