Abhijith Preman & Co. LLP (APCALLP) is a boutique Chartered Accountancy and advisory firm with offices in Bengaluru, Kochi and Calicut. We work with startups, SMEs and growing businesses across the full range of CA practice: audit and assurance, direct and indirect tax, ROC and secretarial compliance, FEMA and cross-border matters, due diligence, financial modelling, valuation support, fundraising advisory and outsourced finance functions.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our Bengaluru office and anchor day-to-day delivery across engagements. You will sit between the team leads and the articles and interns. You will take the plan from the team lead, split the work, guide the juniors, review what they produce and make sure it is right before it goes out. You will also deal with clients directly. At a boutique firm, no two weeks look the same, so this role suits someone who likes variety and owning the result.

What You Will Do

- Coordinate between team leads, articles and interns. Allocate work, track progress and keep deadlines on schedule.
- Work on GST, TDS and Income Tax compliance, returns and client queries.
- Support statutory, internal and special-purpose audits.




- Assist on financial due diligence for investment and acquisition transactions.
- Build and review financial models, projections and valuation workings.
- Support FEMA filings and cross-border transactions such as share transfers and foreign investment reporting.
- Prepare MIS, reports and client presentations.
- Speak with clients, understand what they need and explain deliverables clearly.
- Review the work of articles and interns so that nothing leaves the desk with an error.

Qualifications

- CA Intermediate qualified.
- CA articleship completed.
- Prior exposure to audit, tax or advisory work during articleship is a plus.

Skills We Look For

- Strong MS Excel. Comfort with formulas, working papers and financial models.
- Working knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Hands-on experience with Tally and Zoho Books.
- Familiarity with the GST and Income Tax portals.
- Good written and spoken English. You will write to and speak with clients.
- Attention to detail. We work to a zero-error standard.
- Ability to manage several engagements at once and guide a small team.
