Role & responsibilities

1. Architectural Design &
- Development

- Lead and coordinate architectural design development for residential and high-rise projects.

- Review architectural plans, elevations, sections, details and working/GFC drawings.

- Ensure design intent is maintained from the concept stage through execution.

- Coordinate architectural requirements with structural, MEP, landscape, fire and other consultants.

- Review drawings for design consistency, constructability and coordination.

1. Consultant Coordination

- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, landscape consultants, fire consultants and other specialist agencies.
- Review consultant drawings and provide timely comments/inputs.

- Identify design clashes and resolve coordination issues before execution.

- Conduct and participate in design coordination meetings and prepare/track action points.

1. Site Coordination

- Coordinate with project/site teams to resolve design issues.

- Review site queries, RFIs and technical submissions and provide appropriate design inputs.

- Conduct site visits to monitor architectural execution and identify deviations from approved drawings.

1. Drawing &
- Documentation Management

- Ensure timely issuance and revision of GFC/working drawings.

- Review shop drawings, material submissions and mock-ups.

- Maintain drawing registers, revision records and approval status.

- Ensure that drawings issued to the site are properly coordinated and approved.

1. Design &




- Cost Optimisation

- Identify opportunities for design optimisation, value engineering and cost reduction without compromising functionality, quality or statutory requirements.

- Evaluate alternative construction systems, materials and architectural details.

- Coordinate with the project team to assess the technical and commercial implications of proposed changes.

1. Statutory &
- Compliance Coordination

- Ensure architectural designs comply with applicable development control regulations, NBC requirements and local authority requirements.

- Coordinate with consultants for fire, accessibility, parking, services and other statutory requirements.

- Support the team in obtaining necessary design approvals and resolving authority-related comments

Preferred candidate profile

- B.Arch. from a recognized institution.
- Council of Architecture (COA) registration preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Revit / BIM will be an added advantage.
- Positive knowledge of 3D modelling, rendering and visualization software.
- Experience in preparing sales plans, presentation drawings, unit plans and marketing layouts.
- Knowledge of IGBC requirements, green building principles and sustainable design practices.
- Good understanding of NBC, UDCPR and applicable local development regulations.
- Knowledge of Environmental Clearance (EC) submission, documentation and coordination with relevant consultants/authorities.
