Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts function. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Odoo ERP and Odoo Accounting.

The role will be responsible for managing core accounting operations, maintaining financial records, supporting financial reporting, ensuring statutory compliance, and contributing to the overall financial control framework of the organization while keeping up with updated formats.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the implementation and optimization of accounting processes within Odoo ERP.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
- Perform bank, ledger, vendor, and customer reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports, MIS, schedules, and management reports.
- Monitor receivables and payables, including ageing analysis and follow-up on outstanding balances.
- Manage accounting transactions and financial workflows through Odoo ERP.
- Ensure appropriate accounting treatment and accurate classification of financial transactions within Odoo.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and provisions.




- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial analysis as required.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, taxation, and financial reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, auditors, consultants, banks, vendors, and other external parties as required.
- Maintain proper financial documentation and ensure adherence to internal financial controls and processes.
- Identify discrepancies, control gaps, and process inefficiencies and recommend appropriate corrective measures.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Proven hands-on experience with Odoo ERP, particularly Odoo Accounting, is required.
- Valuable English Communication Skills.
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures.
- Working knowledge of applicable Indian taxation and statutory compliance requirements.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to independently manage accounting activities and meet reporting deadlines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Candidate:

- 10/10 hands-on experience with Odoo.
- Experience in ERP implementation, process optimization, or Odoo workflow configuration.
- Proficient in English Language
