- Maintain project-wise accounting and profitability for EPC projects.
- Monitor project revenue and expenses from order booking to project completion.
- Ensure revenue recognition in accordance with Ind AS 115 and applicable contractual terms.

1. Manufacturing Accounting & Costing
- Prepare and monitor product/project costing for MVR, MEE, ZLD, ETP and CETP systems.
- Analyze:

- Monitor BOM-based costing and actual material consumption.
- Identify cost variances and reasons for deviations.
- Monitor inventory valuation as per Ind AS 2.
- Analyze slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
- Support management in pricing and margin decisions.
1. GST & Indirect Tax Compliance
- Ensure timely compliance under GST laws.
- Review and ensure accuracy of:
- GSTR-1
- GSTR-3B
- GSTR-9 / 9C, wherever applicable
- Input Tax Credit reconciliation
- Reconcile books with GSTR-2B.
- Review GST treatment of EPC supplies, works contracts, services, goods and composite contracts.
- Monitor GST on advances, credit notes, debit notes and retention amounts.
- Handle GST notices, assessments and departmental correspondence.
- Coordinate with external tax consultants for complex GST matters.
1. Direct Taxation
- Ensure compliance with Income Tax Act, 1961.
- Review TDS deductions, payments and returns.
- Ensure timely filing of TDS returns and issuance of TDS certificates.
- Coordinate for preparation of income-tax computation and return.
- Support tax audit and assessment proceedings.
- Monitor advance tax and tax provisioning.
- Review related-party transactions from taxation and compliance perspectives.
- Coordinate with tax consultants on tax planning and litigation matters.
1. Receivables & Working Capital
- Monitor customer-wise and project-wise receivables.
- Prepare ageing analysis of outstanding receivables.
- Track:
- Customer Advances
- Retention
- Unbilled Revenue
- Overdue Receivables
- Security Deposits
- Coordinate with Sales and Project teams for timely collections.
- Prepare weekly/monthly working-capital reports.
- Monitor debtor days and collection efficiency.
- Identify potential bad debts and assess expected credit losses as applicable under Ind AS 109.
1. Payables & Vendor Management
- Monitor vendor and subcontractor outstanding balances.
- Ensure timely vendor reconciliation.
- Review vendor advances and security deposits.
- Monitor payment schedules based on project cash flow.
- Ensure proper TDS/GST compliance on vendor payments.
- Control unauthorized or duplicate payments.
- Prepare ageing analysis of trade payables.
1. Cash Flow & Treasury
- Prepare weekly and monthly cash-flow forecasts.
- Monitor actual cash flow against forecast.
- Plan project-wise cash requirements.
- Monitor bank balances and fund utilization.
- Coordinate with banks for:
- Bank Guarantees

- Working Capital Facilities
- Term Loans
- Other banking requirements
- Monitor interest costs and financing expenses.
- Ensure optimum utilization of working capital.
1. Audit & Statutory Compliance
- Coordinate with Statutory Auditors, Internal Auditors and Tax Auditors.
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents.
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails.
- Ensure compliance with applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 2013.
- Support preparation of financial statements and statutory disclosures.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and identify control weaknesses.

1. Candidate Profile
- CA Qualified – Mandatory
- 5–10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in EPC / Engineering / Manufacturing / Capital Equipment industry preferred.
- Strong understanding of project costing and profitability.
- Strong knowledge of GST and Income Tax.
- Excellent analytical and financial reporting skills.
- Advanced Excel knowledge.
- ERP experience preferred.
- Ability to independently interact with CFO / CMD / Directors / Auditors / Banks / Tax Consultants.
- Strong commercial understanding and ability to identify financial risks.
