We are looking for a Security Architect with 2+ years of experience in a similar role to take ownership of the security architecture and secure deployment of a complex system built across Rust, Node.js and Python.

This is a hands-on security role. You will be responsible for ensuring the system is secure by design, secure in implementation, and secure in production.

The role covers:

- Application and API security
- Security architecture and threat modeling
- Rust, Node.js and Python security
- Authentication, authorization and identity
- Cryptography, PKI and secrets management
- Cloud and on-premises security
- Linux, Docker and Kubernetes security
- Network architecture and service isolation
- CI/CD and software supply-chain security
- Vulnerability and dependency management
- SAST, DAST, SCA and security testing
- Production hardening and runtime security
- Logging, monitoring and detection
- Secure deployment and infrastructure reviews

Strong familiarity with both cloud and on-premises environments is a must. We are looking for someone who can move comfortably between architecture, source code and infrastructure and understand the security implications at every layer.

You should be comfortable asking:





What happens if this service is compromised?

What can it access?

Can an attacker move laterally?

Where are the trust boundaries?

What happens if a credential or signing key is compromised?

Can we detect and contain a compromise?

This is not a compliance role. You will work directly with engineering and infrastructure teams to identify security weaknesses, design controls and ensure they are actually implemented.

Requirements

- 2+ years of experience in security architecture, application security, product security or a closely related role
- Strong application security fundamentals
- Experience securing complex production systems
- Strong understanding of cloud and on-premises environments
- Experience with distributed systems, APIs and infrastructure security
- Robust Linux and networking fundamentals
- Ability to review architecture, code and deployment configurations
- Strong understanding of modern security practices and threat modeling
