Job Overview:

Our client is looking for a NDIS Compliance & Scheduling Coordinator to be the operational backbone of their out-of-hours and daily coordination — managing critical incident reporting, ensuring compliance with NDIS standards, and resolving complex scheduling issues.

You will act as the key point of contact for staff troubleshooting, confidently screening calls, pushing back when necessary, and directing care workers appropriately. This is a high-responsibility, high-impact role requiring an adaptable professional who can work seamlessly across multiple systems to resolve care provision challenges in real-time.

Schedule:

Remote, Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM and Saturday / Sunday, 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM Australian Time (AEST/AEDT), rotating shifts covering Australian hours (35 work hours per week per person)

Responsibilities:

- Manage incident reporting, including closing off incidents, creating weekly breakdowns, and preparing reportable incident submissions to the NDIS Commission.
- Handle scheduling changes, manage staff rosters, and confidently call staff to fill unexpected vacancies.
- Answer inbound calls, confidently screen questions, and provide immediate on-call troubleshooting regarding care provisions.
- Assist in preparing data, compliance documentation, and reports for monthly stakeholder meetings.
- Navigate multiple screens and systems concurrently (e.g., client details, escalation policies, and modern awards) to make sound, common-sense judgments.

Requirements:





- Proven experience working within the Australian NDIS space , with a strong understanding of the environment and how it operates.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure, problem-solve independently, and apply common sense in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of confidence to direct staff, manage complex troubleshooting, and push back on queries when necessary.
- Ability to commit to versatile, rotating shifts including evenings and weekends .

Qualifications:

- Knowledge or familiarity with the SCHADS award and its complexities.
- Prior rostering or scheduling experience within the healthcare or disability sector.
- Experience using Visual Care (North team) or MYP (South team) software (full training will be provided).
