SAP MM & EDI Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP MM & EDI Consultant with strong hands-on experience in Purchase Order (PO) processes, EDI integrations, and SAP MM Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes. The candidate will be responsible for supporting and managing EDI transactions related to procurement and ensuring seamless integration between SAP and external customers/vendors.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and support EDI transactions related to SAP Purchase Orders .
- Work on end-to-end SAP MM Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot EDI/IDoc-based integrations .
- Handle inbound and outbound PO-related EDI transactions.
- Analyze and resolve IDoc errors, EDI failures, and interface issues .
- Work closely with business, functional, technical, and integration teams.
- Support SAP MM purchasing processes including PR, PO, Goods Receipt (GR), and Invoice Verification .
- Coordinate with vendors/partners for EDI mapping, testing, and issue resolution.
- Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production deployments .
- Prepare functional specifications, mapping documents, test cases,



and technical documentation.
- Monitor EDI interfaces and ensure timely resolution of production issues.
- Participate in process improvements and EDI integration enhancements.

Required Skills
- Solid hands-on experience in SAP MM .
- Excellent knowledge of SAP MM Purchasing and P2P processes .
- Strong experience with Purchase Order (PO) processing .
- Hands-on experience in EDI / Electronic Data Interchange .
- Good understanding of SAP IDocs and EDI interfaces .
- Experience with inbound/outbound procurement-related messages.
- Strong troubleshooting and incident-resolution skills.
- Understanding of PR, PO, GR, Invoice Verification, and Vendor processes .
- Experience working with business and technical integration teams.

Must-Have Skills SAP MM + EDI + Purchase Order (PO) + IDoc + P2P

Experience

5–10 years of relevant experience in SAP MM/EDI, with strong hands-on experience in PO-related EDI integrations and SAP MM processes .
