Key Responsibilities Demand & Solution Design

- Own the end-to-end SAP Finance change pipeline, including requirement intake, qualification, prioritization, solution analysis, and release planning.
- Evaluate business requirements and recommend scalable solutions, prioritizing standard SAP, global templates, and reusable solutions over custom developments.
- Review and approve functional specifications, solution designs, and architecture decisions.
- Ensure solutions align with the S/4HANA roadmap, global template, and enterprise architecture standards.
- Assess cross-functional impacts across O2C, P2P, R2R, Tax, Treasury, Costing, Intercompany, Statutory and Group Reporting.
- Maintain the product backlog, roadmap, and release calendar.

Partner & Delivery Management

- Manage the partner delivery team, including solution managers, functional consultants, developers, and testers.
- Own work allocation, estimates, sprint/release commitments, dependencies, and delivery tracking.
- Review and challenge estimates, scope, timelines, and delivery quality.
- Drive governance activities including design reviews, sprint/release reviews, defect triage, go/no-go decisions, and escalations.
- Own quality gates covering design, development, SIT, UAT, cutover, and hypercare.
- Ensure proper documentation, knowledge transfer, and reduction of key-person dependency.

Integration & Cross-Functional Management

- Work closely with SAP BTP / Integration Suite (CPI) teams on interface requirements, iFlows, APIs, events, error handling, monitoring, and testing.




- Coordinate with Data/MDM teams on master data readiness, data quality, migration, and conversion activities.
- Partner with Security/GRC teams on role design, segregation of duties, access approvals, and audit/SOX requirements.
- Coordinate with Basis, infrastructure, transport management, and other functional teams.
- Manage dependencies with global template owners, third-party applications, banking systems, tax engines, consolidation platforms, and reporting systems.
- Own the Finance product dependency and risk register and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Stakeholder Management

- Act as the primary point of contact for European Finance leadership, Controllers, Shared Service Centres, and country Finance teams.
- Communicate solution options, design trade-offs, timelines, risks, and constraints to senior stakeholders.
- Own delivery plans, timelines, status reporting, and release commitments.
- Ensure SAP changes do not negatively impact month-end, quarter-end, or year-end financial close.
- Represent the Finance product in architecture forums, CABs, change governance, and release management meetings.

Required Skills & Experience





- 10-14 years of overall SAP experience with strong functional expertise in SAP FICO.

- Proven experience owning solution design and end-to-end delivery through a third-party system integrator such as Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, IBM, or similar.
- Experience managing partner teams comprising solution managers, functional consultants, developers, and testers.
- Experience working in large-scale global FMCG/CPG environments, preferably involving multiple countries, company codes, currencies, and global templates.
- Solid understanding of SAP BTP / Integration Suite (CPI), IDocs, APIs, and event-based integrations.
- Strong cross-functional knowledge across FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, reporting, and consolidation.
- Experience with product backlog, roadmap, prioritization, requirement management, and release planning.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, SAFe, and stage-gated project delivery.
- Hands-on familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, and ServiceNow.
- Strong understanding of ChaRM, SAP Solution Manager, Cloud ALM, transport management, CAB, and change governance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently drive decisions, challenge solution designs, and manage senior business and technology stakeholders.
