Role & responsibilities

- Configure Data Cloud data streams and map source data to DMOs.
- Build and optimize identity-resolution rulesets.
- Create unified customer profiles and calculated insights.
- Develop and test audience segments.
- Activate audiences into Marketing Cloud and other destinations.
- Configure downstream Marketing Cloud Data Extensions.
- Perform end-to-end audience validation and reconciliation.
- Troubleshoot activation failures and identity/data mismatches.
- Translate business requirements into audience and exclusion logic.
- Document segmentation and activation configurations.
- Collaborate with Marketing Cloud journey teams to ensure activation readiness.

Preferred candidate profile We are looking for a hands-on Salesforce Data Cloud Engineer with approximately 56 years of overall Salesforce/data engineering experience and at least 3 years of practical Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360) implementation experience.

- End-to-end Data Cloud Marketing Cloud activation
- Data quality and reconciliation
- Consent and data governance

Cloud/Data Platform Experience Candidates with experience integrating Data Cloud with one or more of the following are preferred:

- Snowflake
- AWS
- Microsoft Azure
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Zero-copy data sharing

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Knowledge The candidate should understand how activated Data Cloud audiences are consumed within Marketing Cloud Engagement, including:

- Data Extensions
- Subscriber/Contact identification
- Audience activation
- Data synchronization
- Journey audience requirements
- Activation troubleshooting
