Role Description The Sales Attendant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Tamil Nadu, India.

The Sales

Attendant will greet customers, understand their needs, and assist them in selecting products while providing explicit, accurate information on features and prices. Daily responsibilities include handling sales transactions, operating the cash register or POS system, issuing receipts, and maintaining accurate records of sales and payments. The role also involves organizing and replenishing stock, keeping the sales area clean and presentable, and helping with basic inventory checks.

Attendant will work closely with the store team to meet sales targets, follow company policies,



and support a safe and welcoming environment for all customers.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and a friendly, professional manner.
- Candidates should possess basic sales and retail skills, such as product knowledge, upselling or cross-selling, and handling cash or POS transactions accurately.
- Candidates should possess good organizational and time-management skills to manage stock, maintain store displays, and complete daily tasks efficiently.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving skills and attention to detail to handle customer queries, resolve simple issues, and ensure accuracy in billing and records.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, follow instructions, and adapt to store schedules, including weekends or holidays as needed.
- Basic literacy and numeracy are required; prior experience in retail or trading environments is an advantage.
- Comfort with learning simple digital tools or POS systems and familiarity with local languages in Tamil Nadu will be beneficial.
