Role Description The Safety Officer role at Buildwell Project India Pvt Ltd is a full time remote position responsible for overseeing and promoting workplace health, safety, and security standards across projects. On a day-to-day basis, the Safety Officer will conduct safety assessments, review job site procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

The role includes developing and delivering safety training, preparing reports and documentation, and supporting accident and incident investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions.

The Safety

Officer will collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and team members to implement preventive measures, monitor safety performance,



and drive continuous improvement in safety culture. This position also involves providing guidance on occupational health practices, emergency preparedness, and security protocols in alignment with organizational objectives.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices.
- Ability to conduct Accident Investigation and prepare clear, accurate incident reports and recommendations.
- Experience in Safety Training, including developing training materials and delivering sessions to diverse teams.
- Understanding of Security procedures relevant to construction and project-based environments.
- Relevant certification or diploma in occupational health and safety, safety engineering, or a related field (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and guide teams remotely.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for documentation, reporting, remote coordination, and training delivery.
- Prior experience as a Safety Officer or similar role in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects is an advantage.
