Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Safety Manager to ensure a protected and compliant working environment at our manufacturing facility in Nagothane, Maharashtra. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety systems, conducting inspections and audits, identifying workplace hazards, and ensuring compliance with applicable safety standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:-

Develop, implement, and monitor workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and workplace audits.

Identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive measures.

Ensure compliance with applicable industrial safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.

Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees and contract workers.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases and prepare detailed reports.

Monitor and ensure proper use of PPE and other safety equipment.

Coordinate emergency preparedness, fire safety drills, and evacuation procedures.

Maintain safety records, reports, permits, checklists, and statutory documentation.





Coordinate with production, maintenance, HR, and other departments regarding safety requirements.

Monitor contractor safety and ensure compliance with site safety procedures.

Assist in developing and implementing Emergency Response Plans.

Track safety KPIs and submit regular safety performance reports to management.

Promote a strong safety culture across the plant.

Candidate Requirements:-Graduate/Diploma/Degree in Safety, Industrial Safety, Engineering, or a relevant discipline.

5–7 years of relevant experience in industrial/manufacturing/chemical/petrochemical environments.

Strong knowledge of industrial safety practices, risk assessment, fire safety, and emergency management.

Familiarity with statutory safety requirements and compliance documentation.

Good communication, leadership, and team-management skills.

Ability to conduct safety training and handle emergency situations effectively.

Proficiency in MS Office and safety reporting/documentation.
