Role Description The Safety Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Yamunanagar, responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental standards across the facility. This role involves conducting regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits, and documenting findings with clear recommendations for corrective actions.

The Safety

Officer will develop and update safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company guidelines. Daily tasks include delivering safety training and toolbox talks, investigating incidents and near misses, maintaining safety records and reports,



and collaborating with operations teams to promote a strong safety culture. The role also requires close coordination with management and HSE consultants to continuously improve safety performance and support certification or regulatory inspections.

Qualifications

- Btech/BE/Diploma (Mechanical/Civil/Electrical) / BSC from AICTE Approved institute
- LEEA/LOLER/OPITO/TUV
- 3 - 5 yrs of exp as Rigging Expert/ Rigging Supervisor
- Strong knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Experience in conducting site inspections, risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
- Ability to develop and implement safety policies, SOPs, training materials, and emergency response plans.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to train staff, lead safety meetings, and influence safety culture.
- Proficiency in documentation, report writing, and maintaining accurate HSE records and compliance reports.
- Relevant professional certifications or diplomas in HSE, safety management, or industrial safety are highly preferred.
- Familiarity with manufacturing, industrial, or construction environments in or around Yamunanagar is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and respond promptly to safety issues.
