Qualification M.Sc. Organic Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry preferred

B.Sc. Chemistry with relevant hands-on experience will also be considered.

- Execute laboratory trials for dyes and dyes intermediates as per defined

process instructions
- Work with reaction parameters including temperature, pH, mole ratios,

addition sequence, reaction time, distillation and reflux
- Perform titration, Coupling Value (CV), Nitrite Value (NV) and Specific Gravity

calculations
- Handle filtration, washing, isolation, drying and yield calculations




- Maintain accurate batch sheets, trial records, sample labelling and

experimental observations
- Support product development, process improvement & lab-to-plant scale-up
- Maintain trial data and records using Excel

Preferred Experience
- Dyes / dyes intermediates
- Azo chemistry, condensation, acylation or related organic reactions
- Shade, strength, solubility and purity evaluation
- Salt-free / low-salt dye development
- Pilot-scale or manufacturing R&D; exposure
