Role Description The Quality Control Inspector is a full-time, in office role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The person in this role will perform routine inspections of construction materials, workmanship, and processes to ensure compliance with project specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include reviewing drawings and technical documents, conducting site checks, documenting inspection results, identifying nonconformities, and coordinating corrective actions with site supervisors and project engineers.

The Quality Control

Inspector will maintain detailed records, prepare inspection reports, and participate in quality review meetings to support consistent workmanship and safe operations.



This role collaborates closely with project teams to proactively address quality issues and support timely, compliant project delivery.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control and Inspection, including material and workmanship checks, test result verification, and report preparation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Assurance and Quality Management, such as implementing procedures, monitoring compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for clear documentation, reporting findings, and collaborating with site teams, contractors, and management.
- Relevant experience in construction or infrastructure projects, with familiarity in civil engineering standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality plans, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
- Proficiency in using basic measurement tools, inspection checklists, and common office software for data entry and reporting.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in a quality-focused role on construction sites.
- Ability to work on-site in varying weather and site conditions, maintain professional conduct, and uphold health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
