Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Software Tester / QA Tester with 2–3 years of experience in ERP testing to join our product development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in testing ERP applications/modules, identifying defects, preparing test cases, and ensuring the quality and reliability of the product.

The candidate should have a good understanding of ERP workflows, business processes, functional testing, regression testing, and defect management.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform functional and manual testing of ERP software and its modules.

· Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and ERP workflows.

· Prepare and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.

· Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and UI testing.

· Identify, document, track, and report software defects.

· Work closely with developers and product teams to reproduce and resolve issues.

· Perform end-to-end testing of ERP business processes.

· Validate data flow and integration between different ERP modules.

· Conduct regression testing after bug fixes and new feature releases.

· Participate in requirement analysis and identify potential testing scenarios.

· Verify software functionality against business requirements.

· Maintain proper documentation of test cases, test results, and defects.

· Perform exploratory testing to identify unexpected issues.

· Coordinate with the development and product teams during release cycles.

· Ensure that the product meets quality standards before deployment.

· Provide timely feedback regarding product quality, functionality, and usability.

Required Skills & Experience





· 2–3 years of experience in Software Testing / QA.

· Mandatory experience in ERP software/application testing.

· Strong experience in Manual Testing.

· Good understanding of STLC and SDLC.

· Knowledge of different testing methodologies and processes.

· Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scenarios.

· Good understanding of Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and UAT Testing.

· Experience in defect identification, documentation, and tracking.

· Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla, or similar defect-tracking tools.

· Basic knowledge of SQL/database testing will be an advantage.

· Good understanding of ERP business processes and workflows.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Valuable communication and coordination skills.

ERP Background – Preferred

Candidates with experience testing ERP modules such as:

· Finance & Accounting

· Sales & CRM

· Purchase & Procurement

· Inventory Management

· HR & Payroll

· Production / Manufacturing

· Project Management

· Order Management

· Supply Chain Management will be preferred.

Educational Qualification

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

· Additional QA/testing certifications will be an advantage.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who:

· Has 2–3 years of hands-on ERP testing experience.

· Understands ERP workflows and business processes.

· Can independently create and execute test scenarios.

· Has strong attention to detail.

· Can effectively communicate bugs and technical issues to developers.

· Is comfortable working in a product/SaaS environment.

· Can work collaboratively with Product, Development, and Business teams.

Preferred: Candidates currently working or having previous experience with ERP product companies / SaaS product companies will be preferred.
