Role & responsibilities:
- Conduct stage-wise QA/QC inspection of boilers and pressure parts.
- Inspect welding, fit-up, dimensional accuracy and fabrication.
- Review WPS, PQR and Welder Qualification Records.
- Coordinate/witness NDT RT, UT, MT, PT & VT.
- Witness hydrostatic, pneumatic and performance testing.
- Ensure compliance with ASME, IBR, ISO and customer requirements.
- Handle MTCs, NCRs, inspection reports, MRB and quality dossiers.
- Coordinate with customers, TPI agencies, vendors and regulatory/boiler inspectors.
- Valuable knowledge of boiler manufacturing, pressure-vessel fabrication, welding and NDT.
- Knowledge of ASME, IBR and ISO 9001.
