Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Manual Tester with 4+ years of experience in software testing. The role is primarily focused on manual testing, with some exposure to test automation preferred. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in testing web and mobile applications and a working understanding of Selenium WebDriverIO, TypeScript, and Node.js.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse functional and business requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Perform functional, regression, exploratory, integration, and end-to-end testing for web and mobile applications.
- Execute test cases across different environments and validate application behaviour against requirements.
- Identify, document, prioritise, and track defects through resolution using tools such as Jira.
- Perform basic API testing and validate data using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Develop, execute, and maintain basic automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriverIO.
- Execute automation suites, analyse failures, and collaborate with developers to identify underlying issues.
- Maintain QA artefacts including test cases, test scenarios, execution reports, automation scripts, and defect logs.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.




- Explore and leverage AI tools relevant to software testing and QA to improve test case creation, test coverage, defect analysis, documentation, and overall testing efficiency.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, test coverage, and overall product quality.

Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Manual / Software Testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, test methodologies, and defect life cycle.
- Proven experience in designing and executing test cases for web and/or mobile applications.
- Good understanding of functional, regression, exploratory, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools, preferably Jira.
- Working knowledge of API testing, preferably using Postman or similar tools.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Preferred / Positive to Have
- Hands-on exposure to Selenium WebDriverIO automation.
- Working knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Basic understanding or hands-on experience with Node.js.
- Ability to understand, execute, troubleshoot, and make minor enhancements to existing automation scripts.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools and pipelines such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Experience using AI tools for software testing or QA activities, with the ability to effectively incorporate AI-assisted tools into day-to-day testing workflows.
