Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Purchase Manager role based in Rajkot.

The Purchase

Manager will oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor identification, negotiation, and selection for equipment, raw materials, and services related to water treatment and beverage projects.

Responsibilities include managing purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and maintaining cost-effective purchasing strategies aligned with production and project timelines.



The role involves coordinating closely with manufacturing, engineering, and project teams to forecast requirements, evaluate supplier performance, and ensure compliance with quality and company standards.

The Purchase

Manager will also maintain accurate records, prepare procurement reports, and support continuous improvement in purchasing processes.

Qualifications

- Strong procurement and supply chain management skills, including vendor management, negotiation, and purchasing strategy.
- Ability to work with technical specifications and engineering requirements related to water treatment and beverage production equipment.
- Proficiency in inventory control, cost analysis, and basic financial understanding for budgeting and cost optimization.
- Effective communication, relationship-building, and coordination skills for working with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Experience with ERP or procurement software and MS Office tools for data management and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field; relevant skilled certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar role within manufacturing, industrial equipment, or FMCG sectors is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to ethical and compliant purchasing practices.
