Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

- Develop and execute procurement strategies for mechanical and automation products.
- Purchase mechanical components such as motors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, couplings, pumps, valves, conveyors,



fabricated parts, and machine spares.
- Source automation products including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, VFDs, Servo Drives, Sensors, Instrumentation, Robotics, and Industrial Control Systems.
- Ensure procurement aligns with project schedules, production plans, and business objectives.
- Issue RFQs, evaluate quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and finalize purchase orders.

Vendor Development & Management

- Identify and develop reliable vendors, OEMs, distributors, and contract manufacturers.
- Conduct vendor audits and supplier performance evaluations.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms, and annual rate contracts.
- Maintain strategic relationships with major suppliers and technology partners.
- Handle supplier disputes, quality concerns, and delivery escalations.

Cost Optimization

- Drive cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
- Analyze market trends, raw material pricing, and alternate sourcing opportunities.
- Implement value engineering and cost-saving projects without compromising quality.
- Monitor procurement budgets and ensure cost-effective purchasing practices.

Technical Procurement Support

- Collaborate closely with Engineering,



Design, Projects, Production, and Maintenance teams.
- Review technical specifications, BOQs, BOMs, drawings, and project requirements.
- Source equivalent and alternative products when required.
- Ensure purchased materials meet technical and quality standards.

Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination

- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability.
- Coordinate with stores and planning teams to avoid shortages and excess inventory.
- Track shipments and expedite critical materials to support project deadlines.
- Improve inventory turnover and reduce procurement lead times.

Contract & Commercial Management

- Evaluate supplier contracts and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and commercial terms.
- Manage annual procurement budgets and vendor commitments.
- Support legal and finance teams in contract negotiations and vendor settlements.

Quality & Compliance

- Ensure all procured materials comply with company quality standards.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams for supplier qualification and inspections.
- Maintain procurement documentation and audit-ready records.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental, and safety requirements.

Reporting & MIS

- Prepare procurement reports, spend analysis, and supplier performance dashboards.
- Present cost-saving initiatives and procurement KPIs to management.
- Maintain ERP records and procurement data accuracy.
