Purchase Manager

Qualifications

- BE/B.Tech (Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Industrial Engineering) or MBA in Supply Chain/Operations.

- 1 to 5 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Supply Chain Management.

- SALARY - 35000 TO 50000 CTC PM

- LOCATION- CHAKAN- PUNE

KEY SKILLS-

Purchase Management

- Source and develop suppliers for raw materials, components, tooling, and services.

- Float RFQs, evaluate quotations, and negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts.

- Issue Purchase Orders and monitor order execution.

- Identify cost reduction and value engineering opportunities.

- Manage annual rate contracts and supplier agreements.

- Monitor commodity prices and market trends.

Supplier Development &

- Management

- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers.

- Conduct supplier performance reviews and audits.

- Develop alternate sources to reduce supply risk.

- Resolve supplier-related quality, delivery, and commercial issues.

Supply Chain Management

- Ensure timely availability of materials for production and projects.

- Coordinate with planning, production, stores, quality, and logistics teams.

- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock carrying costs.

- Manage material shortages and expedite critical requirements.

- Track supplier deliveries and ensure on-time performance.

Logistics &

- Import Management

- Coordinate domestic and international shipments.

- Manage freight forwarders,



customs clearance, and import documentation.

- Monitor transportation costs and delivery schedules.

- Support MOOWR, duty benefits, and other regulatory requirements where applicable.

New Project Sourcing

- Support RFQ and costing activities for current business opportunities.

- Source materials and components for prototype and production requirements.

- Work closely with Engineering, SQD, and Program Management teams during project launches.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Purchase cost savings achieved.

- Supplier on-time delivery performance.

- Inventory turnover ratio.

- Material availability for production.

- Lead time reduction.
