Production Head – EOT Crane Manufacturing / Heavy Engineering

Qualification

- B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical

Experience Required

- 10–20 years of experience in Production / Manufacturing
- Strong experience in EOT Crane / Overhead Crane / Crane Manufacturing is preferred.
- Candidates from Heavy Fabrication, Heavy Engineering, Material Handling Equipment or Industrial Machinery Manufacturing may also be considered.
- Experience in Production Planning, Fabrication, Assembly and Manpower Management is required.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage overall production activities and daily production planning.
- Plan and monitor production targets, schedules and delivery timelines.
- Handle fabrication, assembly and manufacturing activities.
- Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Sales, Projects, Quality and other departments.
- Monitor BOM, raw material requirements and material utilization.
- Manage production manpower, contractors and shop-floor activities.




- Ensure timely completion of production and dispatch targets.
- Monitor production quality and coordinate inspections with the Quality team.
- Prepare and review production MIS and daily/weekly production reports.
- Identify production issues and coordinate for timely resolution.
- Ensure proper utilization of machines, manpower and resources.
- Maintain workplace safety and ensure adherence to production processes.
- Drive productivity, efficiency and timely execution of projects.

- Good communication, planning and problem-solving skills.
