Role Description This is a full time, on-site Production Engineer role based in the Pune District.

The Production

Engineer will oversee daily manufacturing operations for valves, balls, and rollers, ensuring production plans are executed safely, efficiently, and to quality specifications.

Responsibilities include monitoring production lines, optimizing processes, coordinating with design, quality, and maintenance teams, and resolving technical and operational issues on the shop floor. The role involves implementing continuous improvement initiatives, supporting equipment setup and troubleshooting, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Engineer will also participate in documentation, reporting key performance metrics, and supporting training and guidance for production staff.

Qualifications

- Strong production engineering and manufacturing process skills, including process optimization, line balancing, and knowledge of machining or metal fabrication.
- Competence in quality control and assurance, including familiarity with inspection methods, tolerances, and industry standards for valves and precision components.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and CAD models relevant to mechanical components.
- Experience with maintenance coordination, basic troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment, and collaboration with maintenance teams.
- Understanding of workplace safety practices, risk assessment, and compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement practical improvements.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams on the shop floor and in engineering offices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; relevant manufacturing experience is highly beneficial.
- Experience in valve, precision component, or heavy engineering manufacturing is an advantage.
- Comfort working on-site in a high-paced industrial environment and managing multiple priorities.
