You'll report to the Director of Product Management and work closely with cross functional team - engineering, QA, Customer Success, Sales and leadership across Canada and India.

Why Join BoomerangFX?

BoomerangFX isn't just a company. It's a movement redefining how private-pay healthcare practices operate. Deloitte's Fast 500 program has named us one of North America's Fastest Growing Tech Companies two years in a row, ranking us 6th in Canada and 23rd in North America. We are a global leader in practice management software and digital marketing solutions, and our growth of over 8,000% is matched by our ambition to disrupt and lead the healthcare technology landscape.

We have offices across the USA, Canada, the UK, Sydney and India, and we're building a truly global organization as we expand into current international markets. This is an opportunity to join a high-growth company and help shape our next stage of growth.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Market Analysis

- Perform market segment analysis across our verticals (medspa, aesthetics, plastic surgery, wellness and elective healthcare) to identify where demand, revenue and retention opportunities sit.
- Conduct competitive analysis of practice management, CRM and AI-agent products, and turn the findings into positioning and roadmap decisions.

- Perform market penetration analysis by region and segment to inform go-to-market priorities in Canada, the US, the UK, Australia and India.
- Use product data, customer feedback and support trends to identify issues, opportunities and actionable insights.

Regulatory Compliance

- Make sure product requirements reflect the regulations that apply in each market we serve. These include privacy and health-data rules (PIPEDA, PHIPA, HIPAA, GDPR/UK GDPR), messaging and consent rules (CASL, TCPA, PECR, India DLT) and payment standards (PCI DSS).
- Build consent, opt-out, data-handling and auditability requirements into features from the start, working with engineering and security.
- Flag compliance risks early and drive them to resolution with clear owners and dates.

Backlog & Requirements

- Own and prioritize the product backlog for your area. Make sure every item has a clear problem statement, business rules, acceptance criteria and a definition of done before it enters a sprint.
- Prepare and maintain BRDs, user stories, process flows and functional specifications.
- Separate defects from feature requests, apply consistent severity and priority, and make sure work is sequenced by impact rather than by whoever asked last.
- Find gaps, ambiguities and dependencies early, and resolve them before they reach engineering.

Technical Collaboration

- Work closely with developers, architects and QA on solution design. You should be able to read and understand API documentation, data models and integration specs.
- Apply sound knowledge of software development principles (APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, release management and testing) when you evaluate trade-offs between scope, feasibility, security and timelines.
- Join troubleshooting and production-issue discussions, and explain the technical implications clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Work with QA to make sure test coverage matches the acceptance criteria and the riskiest workflows.

Delivery & Agile Execution

- Drive sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos and retrospectives.
- Own delivery from requirements through development, QA, UAT, production release and post-release validation.
- Track progress, risks, blockers and aging items in Jira, and act on what the data shows.
- Run several initiatives in parallel without dropping quality on any of them.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication

- Act as the main link between Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, engineering, QA and leadership for your product area.
- Set and manage expectations on scope, timelines, risks and trade-offs, and give early, honest updates when something changes.
- Communicate clearly in writing and in meetings with the right framing for clinic customers, executives, and distributed engineering teams across time zones.
- Build trust and good working relationships across Canada- and India-based teams.

Must Haves

- 5+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, or 7+ years combined across software engineering and product management with at least 3 years as a Product Manager.
- Strong grasp of product management principles and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Proven experience owning and prioritizing a product backlog and writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Technical acumen to understand API documentation, software architecture and development practices, and to work closely with developers day to day.
- Hands-on experience with market segmentation, competitive analysis and market penetration analysis.
- Working knowledge of regulatory compliance in a regulated domain (healthcare, payments, fintech or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence or equivalent tools.

Nice to Have

- A background in software engineering, ideally with exposure to .NET/C#, React, SQL and Azure.
- Experience with payments, billing, reconciliation or subscriptions (e.g. Stripe, PCI DSS).
- Experience shipping AI or LLM features, including RAG, AI evaluations, guardrails and human-in-the-loop design.
- Experience in healthcare, healthtech, or multi-location B2B platforms.
- Experience working with offshore or distributed engineering teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field. Product certification (CSPO, PSPO or equivalent) is an asset.
