About ROIS3D

ROIS3D is a product development, 3D printing, rapid prototyping and digital manufacturing company focused on converting ideas into functional, manufacturable products.

We are looking for a Product Development Designer who can take a concept, sketch, image, reference or physical component and convert it into an accurate, functional and production-ready product.

This is a hands-on role involving the complete product development cycle:

Concept → CAD → Prototype → Testing → Improvement → Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

- Create accurate 3D CAD models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings.
- Develop products from sketches, images, customer requirements, measurements or physical components.
- Design mechanical parts, enclosures, brackets, fixtures, mechanisms and assemblies.
- Create editable/parametric CAD models, BOMs and technical documentation.
- Modify designs based on prototype testing and manufacturing feedback.
- Apply DFM/DFA principles, GD&T;, tolerances, fits and clearances.
- Prepare models for FDM/resin 3D printing and rapid prototyping.
- Assemble, test and improve physical prototypes.
- Perform basic reverse engineering using measurements, existing products or 3D scans.
- Create product renders, technical visuals and presentation-quality images when required.
- Coordinate with production, manufacturing, marketing, sales, procurement and external vendors.

- Blender / Fusion 360 / Rhino / KeyShot
- Product rendering and visualization
- Reverse engineering
- FDM & Resin 3D printing
- Sheet metal design
- Injection moulding
- CNC / machining / fabrication
- Electronics enclosures
- Mechanisms and assemblies
- AI-based product design and visualization tools
- Graphic tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator or CorelDRAW

Experience with Bambu Lab printers is an added advantage.

Education & Experience

Preferred qualification

Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Industrial Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics or related fields.

Experience: 1–4 years preferred.

Freshers with a strong portfolio of CAD, mechanical, product design or 3D printing projects may also apply.

Practical skills and portfolio quality matter more than years of experience.

Projects may include

Consumer products, mechanical components, electronics enclosures, jigs & fixtures, automotive parts, industrial products, robotics components, functional 3D printed parts, prototypes and current ROIS3D products.

Salary

₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month

Final salary will depend on CAD capability, portfolio quality, manufacturing knowledge, 3D printing experience and problem-solving ability.
