Position Summary

Process Transformation & Technology Specialist plays a critical role in driving operational excellence and transformation initiatives across global Finance and Procurement functions. The role is responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing process improvements, automation solutions, and operating model enhancements that improve efficiency, controls, stakeholder experience, and business outcomes.

Working across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Intercompany, Master Data, and Procurement processes, this position partners closely with Finance and Procurement Operations, Shared Services, Controllership, Business Teams, and Digital Technology organizations to translate strategic priorities into scalable, measurable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Transformation & Process Excellence

- Lead and deliver transformation initiatives across AP, AR, Intercompany, Master Data, and Procurement in alignment with the broader Finance Transformation roadmap.
- Analyze current-state processes, identify root causes and inefficiencies, and design future-state solutions that improve service delivery, controls, compliance, and efficiency.
- Drive process standardization, simplification, and harmonization across regions while balancing local regulatory and business requirements.
- Develop business cases, process maps, operating procedures, requirements documentation, test scenarios, and deployment plans.
- Identify opportunities to improve transaction quality, cycle times, working capital performance, and overall process effectiveness.
- Support implementation activities including user acceptance testing, defect resolution, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization.

Digital Transformation & Automation

- Partner with technology teams and process owners to evaluate, prioritize, and deploy automation and workflow solutions.
- Leverage process mining, process intelligence, and analytics capabilities to identify improvement opportunities and measure outcomes.
- Support implementation of digital technologies including SAP Signavio, SAP Build Process Automation, Microsoft Power Platform, AI-enabled tools, and workflow technologies.
- Drive adoption of analytics and reporting solutions using Power BI, Databricks, and related platforms.
- Explore and implement practical AI and machine learning use cases to improve knowledge management, decision support, transaction processing, and operational efficiency.




- Ensure automation solutions incorporate appropriate governance, controls, auditability, data quality standards, and ownership frameworks.

Stakeholder Management & Change Leadership

- Facilitate workshops, process reviews, design sessions, and governance forums with key stakeholders.
- Build alignment across Finance, Procurement, Shared Services, Technology, and Business teams to support successful transformation outcomes.
- Develop communication plans, training materials, operating procedures, and change management strategies.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and escalations while ensuring stakeholder engagement and adoption.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, and best-practice methodologies.

Governance, Controls & Performance Management

- Maintain project governance artifacts including project plans, risk registers, issue logs, action trackers, dependency logs, and benefits realization frameworks.
- Provide regular executive-level reporting on delivery progress, milestones, risks, adoption, and value realization.
- Ensure solutions remain compliant with finance policies, internal controls, audit requirements, regulatory obligations, and governance standards.
- Monitor post-implementation performance and drive corrective actions when expected outcomes are not achieved.
- Contribute to the development of transformation playbooks, methodologies, standards, and reusable assets.

Required Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- MBA, Master's degree, PGDBA, or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma, PMP, Agile, Change Management, or other transformation certifications preferred.

Professional Experience

- 8+ years of experience in Finance Operations, Shared Services, Global Business Services (GBS), Procurement Operations, or Management Consulting.
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading or supporting finance transformation, process improvement, automation, or operating model initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects across multiple business units, regions, or stakeholder groups.
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Intercompany Accounting, Master Data, and Procurement processes.




- Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Practical experience in process mapping, business requirements definition, operating model design, and implementation support.
- Experience working with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Excel, Databricks, or equivalent platforms.
- Automotive, manufacturing, or OEM industry experience strongly preferred.

- Understanding of internal controls, audit frameworks, risk management, segregation of duties, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to ensure transformation initiatives balance efficiency gains with a strong control environment.
