Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary curriculum.
- Develop students' mathematical reasoning, logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Use hands-on activities, manipulatives, games and real-life applications to make mathematical concepts meaningful.
- Differentiate instruction to address diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Use formative and summative assessments to monitor, evaluate and support student progress.
- Maintain student assessment records and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Education or a relevant field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Experience teaching Primary Mathematics, preferably in a Cambridge or international school for at least 2 years.
- Solid subject knowledge and an understanding of the Cambridge Primary Mathematics framework.
- Excellent communication, classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- A warm, patient and encouraging approach towards young learners.
