Role Description The Portfolio Analyst role at Nexedge Capital is a full-time, on-site position based in Surat. The Portfolio Analyst will support the investment team by conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis of client portfolios, monitoring performance, and preparing regular reports and dashboards.

Daily responsibilities include researching investment products and asset classes, assessing risk and return metrics, and providing data-backed recommendations aligned with client objectives and risk profiles. The role involves assisting in portfolio rebalancing, tracking market developments, and contributing to the development of investment strategies and asset allocation models.





The Portfolio Analyst will also collaborate with relationship managers and senior advisors to present findings clearly, support client meetings with analytics, and ensure accurate documentation and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate portfolio performance, and assess risk-return characteristics.
- Candidates should possess solid Investments and Portfolio Management skills to support asset allocation, rebalancing, and product selection decisions.
- Candidates should possess a sound foundation in Finance to understand capital markets, financial instruments, and wealth management concepts.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills to present analysis, prepare reports, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, or progress toward them) are an advantage.
- Proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools; experience with portfolio analytics software or financial databases is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, high ethical standards, and the ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment.
- Prior experience or internships in investment research, portfolio analytics, or wealth management are preferred but not mandatory.
