Role Description The Plant Head Operations role is a full-time, on-site position based at the Jamnagar facility. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end plant operations, including production planning, process optimization, quality assurance, and resource management to meet safety, cost, and delivery targets.

The Plant Head

Operations will lead and develop cross-functional teams, coordinate with maintenance and supply chain for smooth operations, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and environmental standards. Daily activities include monitoring key performance indicators, resolving operational issues, managing budgets, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.



The role also involves close communication with senior management, preparing operational reports, and implementing best practices to enhance plant efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

- Strong operations management skills, including production planning, process optimization, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Excellent analytical skills for data-driven decision-making, performance monitoring, and problem-solving.
- Proven team management capabilities, with experience in leading, mentoring, and developing diverse operational teams.
- Effective communication skills for coordination with internal stakeholders, reporting to management, and fostering collaboration.
- Budgeting and cost control skills, including experience in managing operational expenses and optimizing resource utilization.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Experience in plant operations within metals, mining, or heavy manufacturing industries is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, and relevant regulatory and safety requirements.
- Ability to work on-site in Jamnagar and handle high-responsibility leadership roles in a agile plant environment.
