Role Description The Pickup Supervisor role at DTDC Express Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Gandhinagar.

The Pickup

Supervisor oversees daily pickup operations, ensuring timely collection of consignments from customers and adherence to service standards. This role involves planning pickup schedules, coordinating with drivers and field staff, and monitoring route efficiency to optimize resource utilization.

Supervisor handles escalation issues, resolves operational challenges, and maintains transparent communication with customers and internal teams. The role also includes tracking performance metrics, enforcing safety and compliance guidelines,



and preparing regular reports to support continuous improvement in pickup services.

Qualifications

- Strong operational supervision skills, including team coordination, route planning, and time management in logistics or related fields.
- Customer service and communication skills to manage client interactions, handle escalations, and maintain professional relationships.
- Basic data analysis and reporting abilities, with proficiency in using MS Office or similar tools for tracking pickups and performance metrics.
- Knowledge of logistics or courier operations, including familiarity with pickup processes, shipment handling, and safety standards.
- Ability to work on-site in Gandhinagar, with flexibility to manage peak-hour operations and dynamic field conditions.
- Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or operations supervision is preferred; experience in express delivery services is an advantage.

- Minimum educational qualification: diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
