Role Summary The Pharmacy In-Charge manages the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring medicines are available, dispensed accurately, and handled in compliance with legal and quality standards, while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including dispensing, billing, and customer service
- Verify prescriptions and dispense medicines accurately, counselling patients on dosage and usage
- Manage inventory: ordering, stock checks, expiry tracking, and minimizing stock-outs and wastage
- Coordinate with vendors, distributors, and suppliers for timely procurement and fair pricing
- Ensure compliance with the Drugs & Cosmetics Act, Pharmacy Act, and other regulations
- Perform Marketing activities.
- Supervise, train, and monitor pharmacy staff (pharmacists, assistants, billing staff)
- Maintain storage conditions (e.g., cold chain) and hygiene standards
- Monitor sales targets, margins, and daily/monthly MIS reporting
- Coordinate with doctors, clinic staff, and management as needed
- Handle customer queries, returns, and complaints professionally
