About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our talented development team at Adfluence Hub. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications that are consumer-facing and highly performant.

You will work with a diverse set of technologies including PHP, MongoDB, MySQL, Elasticsearch, and Laravel, contributing to the architecture, optimization, and security of our systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in complex projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the technological advancement of our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, a passion for problem-solving, and a desire to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.



They should have between 6 to 8 years of proven experience in backend development, with a strong command over PHP and MVC frameworks such as Laravel.

Expertise in database design, performance tuning, and management of MySQL and MongoDB is essential. Additionally, hands-on experience with Elasticsearch, including index architecture, querying, and optimization, is required. Familiarity with REST API development and integration, JavaScript, and jQuery is also important.

Candidates should be comfortable working with nginx, version control systems like Git, and cloud platforms such as AWS. A good understanding of software development principles, algorithms, and data structures is fundamental to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, consumer-facing web applications utilizing LAMP stack technologies.
- Architect and optimize Elasticsearch-based indexing and querying systems to ensure high performance and scalability.
- Build and manage RESTful APIs that facilitate seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver integrated solutions.
- Implement and enforce best practices for system security, including protection against XSS, CSRF, and input validation vulnerabilities.
- Write clean, maintainable,



and efficient code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor junior developers to foster team growth.
- Manage source code using version control systems such as Git, ensuring proper documentation and versioning.
- Maintain and optimize database schemas, queries, and performance for MySQL and MongoDB databases.
- Contribute to deployment processes with a working understanding of nginx, AWS, and other DevOps tools to ensure smooth releases.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and evaluate their potential integration into current systems, including AI/ML where applicable.
